Spring Oklahoma Wedding from Leslie Herring Events Captured by Randy Coleman | Jacy + Joshua
September 8
Looking back, Jacy and Josh are both surprised they met their soul mate during the first week of college at Oklahoma State University. They had been randomly paired together for a Coke Date, a Greek Life tradition at OSU for freshman students. By the beginning of their junior year, the couple was inseparable. After a few years of dating, Josh surprised Jacy one spring day as he got down on one knee in the middle of a wheat field at his family’s farm to ask Jacy to be his forever.
Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Thomas Lippoldt said, “I do,” April 16, 2016, at The Chapel at Crossings Community Church. The bride, escorted by her father, was stunning in her timeless A-line Romona Keveza wedding gown. Her gown featured delicate lace cap sleeves with a unique removable tulle skirt that revealed beautiful point d’esprit lace. The gown was the perfect fit for the couple’s fun and celebratory reception at the Farmers Public Market.
Complete with glow sticks, Stillwater’s famous Limey drinks, Pistol Pete and a breathtaking seven-tier cake by Amy Cakes, the evening was full of love, laughter and fun surprises for the guests. The bride and groom also incorporated sentimental Cowboy traditions into their celebration by having a table displaying their sorority and fraternity pins as well as white carnations and pink roses. Overall, the evening was full of sweet personal touches celebrating the happy couple amidst the festive mood created by Leslie Herring Events and M&M Productions.
After a truly memorable day, the newlyweds traveled to New Zealand for their dream honeymoon.
