Vintage Glam Tulsa Wedding | Caitlyn + Christopher

A touch of sparkle and adorable vintage details make Caitlyn and Christopher’s glam Tulsa wedding oh-so-lovely! We love their sweet story:

Caitlyn and Chris bonded over barbells and treadmills. Both attended the University of Central Oklahoma and both were avid gym rats. They crossed paths regularly and when Chris finally asked Caitlyn out, it was only fitting that their first date take place at a sporting event. This date led to many more, and two years later, Chris planned the ultimate date to reenact their first and proposed to Caitlyn on the 50-yard line of a local high school football field.

Caitlyn Marie Meshew and Christopher James Pendergrass were married on September 27, 2014 at the Dresser Mansion in Tulsa. The stunning location was the perfect backdrop for the vintage-style wedding the bride and groom imagined for their big day. Caitlyn and James said, “I do” under a stunning arch of white and ale pink roses designed by Toni’s Flowers on the beautiful lawn of the Dresser.

The bride wore a striking lace gown, hand tatted in England, with oyster colored lining. She accessorized with a pale rose Swarovski crystal belt and hairpiece. Her ‘something old’ was her great-great grandmother’s wedding ring tied onto her bouquet, while her mother’s turquoise and quartz ring served as her ‘something borrowed’ and ‘something blue.’ The bridesmaids wore pale rose dresses covered in sequins cut to embody 1920s couture. Each carried a bouquet of white and pink roses with green succulents. Adorable flower girls were dressed in white lace and boots.

After the intimate ceremony, a plated dinner followed catered by The Restaurant at Gilcrease. The newlyweds and guests danced the night away with the help of Banks Entertainment. Throughout the night, guests were encouraged to take a turn in the photo booth. The photos were then inserted into the guestbook alongside sweet notes of well wishes and encouragement for the bride and groom.

After an enchanting evening of celebration, the newlyweds were whisked away in a pink limo and jetted off to Jamaica for their honeymoon. Caitlyn and Chris currently reside in Tulsa.
