Week after week, our team receives and showcases stunning weddings from across Oklahoma, all courtesy of the immensely talented wedding vendors and lovely couples who submit to us. Each month, our editorial team selects one spectacular wedding to highlight, one that stands above the rest for its uniqueness and beauty.

This month, we’re featuring Michaela & Reynaldo’s Elegant Winter Wedding at The National at First National Center. The couple tied the knot on December 21st, and each detail was simply perfect!

THE WEDDING

Michaela & Reynaldo celebrated their love with an intimate and elegant winter wedding at The National at First National Center. With 130 guests in attendance, the couple transformed the historic space into a classic winter wonderland, embracing the season through texture, color, and design.

The color palette of dusty blue, ivory, white, and icy blue set the tone for a refined and timeless aesthetic. Soft draping cascaded throughout the space, creating a romantic atmosphere that felt both grand and intimate. Over-the-top floral installations by Poppy Lane Design were nothing short of breathtaking, featuring lush winter blooms that added drama, depth, and an unmistakable sense of luxury.

The ceremony took place in the venue’s stunning Tellers Room, where rentals from Marianne’s Rentals elevated the already beautiful setting. Invitations by Paper + More set the tone for the day from the very beginning, offering guests a first glimpse into the couple’s elegant design. All the details came together to make the moment the couple said “I do” feel incredibly special.

Guests were greeted by a unique seating chart design before heading into a beautifully styled reception featuring banquet-style seating that fostered connection and an intimate dining experience. The long tables, adorned with abundant florals and soft candlelight, created a warm and inviting ambiance that perfectly balanced elegance with coziness. Mood Events provided the bar backs, adding another layer of thoughtful design, along with an arbor over the stage that framed the reception space beautifully.

The couple chose a groom’s cake inspired by their love for winter skiing. Crafted by Amy Cakes, the mountain peak design was both personal and visually stunning, an artistic nod to the adventures they share together.

The celebration continued with a packed dance floor, with entertainment booked through OKC Entertainment, and a photobooth by PhotoVille that guests loved throughout the night. At the reception the bride even changed into a fun second dress from Chantilly Bridal Studio. Every moment was beautifully captured by Terri Graves Photography + Films, preserving the day in a way the couple can relive for years to come.

Every detail of Michaela & Reynaldo’s wedding, planned by Embellished Weddings, felt intentional, elevated, and deeply personal. By leaning into a winter-inspired aesthetic, they created a celebration that was timeless, romantic, and unforgettable. A true winter classic at The National at First National Center.

FAVORITE MOMENT

The bride and groom shared that their favorite wedding day memory was a private last dance together. As guests lined up for their send-off, the two took a quiet moment alone to soak it all in.
