Venus and Robert’s whimsical secret garden wedding at Daffodil Hill is one of our faves from the new issue – just a quick scroll through their gallery, and you’ll see why! You’d never guess the couple’s wedding celebration took place in the middle of the Covid pandemic. The outdoor setup, designed in hues of ivory, dusty blue, butterscotch and toffee, was picture perfect thanks to the incredible team of wedding pros the couple hired for their nuptials.
Venus and Robert exchanged vows under an incredible white floral arch designed by Poppy Lane Design, and honored the bride’s Iranian background with Sofreh Aghd, a traditional Persian ceremony. The florals went beyond the aisle to the reception tables, topped with Chinoiserie-inspired china and dusty blue linens from Marianne’s Rentals. The custom monogram signage and paperie from Eros Studios perfectly coordinated with the invitation suite the couple delivered to their guests months before their special day, as well as, Amy Cakes‘ artfully designed ice blue wedding cake design. The couple looked oh-so-dashing – she in a minimalist A-line gown with mesh cutouts and 3D-appliqué tulle veil, and he in a white jacket tuxedo. The bride’s ring from Naifeh Fine Jewelry was the perfect complement to her modern bridal style.
Get your mouse hand ready, because you’ll want to pin nearly every image from this whimsical secret garden wedding gallery! Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs. Thomas!
From the bride on her favorite wedding memory: “Spending time together after our first look before the wedding. Originally we were not going to plan for a first look, but after much consideration, we decided it was the way to go. We kicked back, had a glass of champs, and got to take time to be ‘us’ together without the chaos of the day.”
