Whitney and Eric’s wedding is red hot with beautiful and timeless details! The adorable couple met in 2017 in a spin class at their local gym. Despite having what Whitney calls a “bad first date,” the couple rekindled their romance eight months later over a 10ft Christmas tree. Whitney’s opinion of Eric changed after he helped her assemble her giant Christmas tree. Whitney said, “it was like all of my Hallmark dreams coming to life! All kidding aside, this was the start of our love story!” In April of 2021, Eric proposed at the Tulsa Botanic Gardens in a garden full of blooming tulips– how romantic! After months of wedding planning, Whitney and Eric’s vision became a reality with an incredible team of vendors. Guests received stunning invitation suites from Paper + More and traveled from all over to witness the marriage of Whitney and Eric.

On the morning of their January wedding, Whitney and her bridesmaids got all glammed up in preparation for the big day. Whitney included a first look with her bridesmaids after she changed into her beautiful gown from The Bridal Boutique and accessorized with fine jewelry from BC Clark Jewelers. After revealing her breathtaking bridal look to Eric, it was time for the couple to say their “I do’s.” As Whitney walked down the aisle with her father towards Eric, standing under a beautiful floral arch from XO by Haleigh Kenney, she thought of special memories with her father as he gave her away to Eric. Please excuse us as we grab a tissue!

After becoming husband and wife, the couple and guests headed to the Oklahoma History Center for a red hot reception! Inside, elegant decor and rentals from Mood Party Rentals transformed the space. The couple’s acrylic dance floor with their custom monogram is defiantly one of our favorite details! In addition, guests enjoyed catering and bartending from Kam’s Cookery as well as a delicious slice of cake from Amy Cakes. The incredibly talented Kristen Edwards Photography captured every stunning detail below. Keep scrolling to see more and read a special note from the bride!

Whitney and Eric’s Favorite Wedding Memory:

From the bride, “My favorite wedding day memory was getting to do first looks with my bridesmaids, dad, brothers and finally Eric! I had a special moment with my mom before all of those and she had written a letter to me and helped me get into my dress. All of the buildup leads to those special moments and I am so glad that we will have pictures and a video to treasure forever!”
