Sophie and Brody said “I do” with a modern art deco-inspired wedding at The Canopy. After meeting on Tinder, Sophie and Brody knew they had found their forever person after their first date. Brody surprised Sophie with a New Year’s Eve trip to Paris, which he proposed under the Eiffel Tower. Thanks to Covid, Sophie and Brody had a two-year engagement. However, Sophie shared that their unplanned long engagement “made the planning process much easier and less stressful because I knew I had plenty of time.” In addition, Sophie shared she learned the important lesson of having a helpful wedding planner for your bid day. Sophie said, “I learned that wedding planners are essential. Poppy + Prim organized all the vendors, set up and tear down, and I was able to sit back and enjoy the big day with my husband, friends, and family.”

Sophie and Brody’s modern art deco-inspired wedding was an intimate affair at The Canopy in downtown Tulsa. The Canopy’s industrial bones, whitewashed brick walls, and tropical plants made for the most beautiful and unique wedding space. The couple exchanged their private vows before the ceremony during their first look. Following their first look, the family met the couple at their hotel for photos. Sophie and Brody had a late morning ceremony, which Brody’s high school football coach officiated. After the ceremony, Party Pro Rents flipped the room into a modern reception space with their decor and rentals. The couple and guests enjoyed a local food truck and Bubbles & Brews outside, enjoying the sunny afternoon.
