Jena Beth Teel and Jared Jones’ Elegant Rustic Oklahoma Wedding at Spain Ranch
Jena Beth and Jared were set up on a blind date at a comedy club by friends. They instantly hit it off and went for drinks after the show. They went out again a few days later and have been together ever since!
Jared knew it was the right time to propose when both of their families were together for Easter. As they were preparing for dinner, Jena Beth had no idea what was about to happen. Jared got everyone’s attention and said a few words before getting down on one knee to propose. Her answer was, “Of course I will!”
Because Jena Beth and Jared are both from small towns, they wanted a theme for their wedding that reflected their country background and personalities. Jena Beth had envisioned an intimate setting with classic elegance, and she found exactly what she was looking for at Spain Ranch in Jenks. She created her perfect rustic glam wedding with hues of white, gold and champagne, and pops of amethyst and navy.
For the ceremony, Jared designed sliding barn doors for Jena Beth’s truly grand entrance. The side that Jena Beth would enter through had her maiden name, and the side that they would exit through had their married name. Jena Beth carried handkerchiefs that belonged to her grandmother and grandfather as her “something old.” She loved carrying a piece of them with her down the aisle.
As a special touch to the reception, Jena Beth had a “prayer bouquet” instead of a bouquet toss. She chose one of her single girlfriends to give the bouquet to, and she prayed over her friend and her future spouse. The bride and groom danced their first dance as a married couple to “Never Stop” by SafetySuit.
The happy couple spent a beautiful honeymoon in Bora Bora. They currently reside in Tulsa where Jena Beth is an occupational therapy assistant and Jared is a commercial real estate professional.
