We are obsessed with the palette of Margaret and Patrick’s moody and mixed metal Oklahoma wedding. The groom wanted a winter wedding, so the couple chose Dresser Mansion for its easy warmth, intimacy and character. With friends and loved ones, an incredible dessert bar from The Round House Bakery and delicious food from 624 Catering, and it was the perfect party! Cheers to Margaret and Patrick!

It was a shared sense of humor that brought Margaret and Patrick together. The pair met in high school and quickly became close friends. Patrick asked Margaret out twice but she said no because she didn’t want to risk losing their friendship. Patrick was studying at the University of Oklahoma when he decided to move to Texas. Margaret was attending the University of Tulsa and when she found out Patrick was moving she decided to ask him out. They spent the next few years dating long distance while finishing college.

Patrick had just finished medical school and was about to move to West Virginia for his residency. Margaret had already picked out a ring so she knew a proposal was coming soon, but Patrick still surprised her. Patrick had some friends fill their apartment with candles and pictures of their best memories. Margaret followed a set of numbers with notes around the apartment and the final note read “Will you marry me?” A few friends came out of hiding and they celebrated the engagement with champagne.
