Tara and Ethan’s formal navy and rose wedding is full of wedding inspiration! To look and feel her best on the big day, our beautiful bride prepped by taking pilates classes at Club Pilates in Nichols Hills! Her closest girlfriends joined her in looking absolutely stunning in their glamorous navy bridesmaid dresses from Bella Bridemaids. For another pop of navy, Ethan wore a navy tux from J.J. Kelly Bridal Salon. They put their own unique stamp on the ceremony and reception space with decor and rentals from Marianne’s Rentals Special Event Solutions and Mood Party Rentals. Our mouths were watering at the sight of her cake by Mishelle Handy Cakes! The life-like cascading flowers and flakes of gold fit perfectly with the bride and groom’s theme. A huge bravo to Josh McCullock Photography for capturing every lovely detail. Lastly, the Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City providing Tara and Ethan with wonderful accommodations. Keep reading for Tara’s favorite detail of the wedding where she incorporated her Persian culture!

From the bride: “Being full Persian, it was very important to me to incorporate our culture into the wedding. Persian wedding ceremonies include a “sofreh” which is a table spread of multiple items that represent aspects of a marriage. We wanted it to be unique and true to my and Ethan’s relationship. My mom and I spent a year gathering items for my sofreh. It turned out to be the most gorgeous sofreh I had ever seen. Even more beautiful than I could have imagined.”
We love seeing how brides and grooms honor their cultures in their weddings. Check out how this bride incorporated her Indian culture into her wedding here!
