This traditional white and gold wedding features the most elegant and chic details that we couldn’t be more in love with – not only because this wedding is a complete stunner, but because one of our lovely graphic designers, Rachel, is the gorgeous bride! Although COVID-19 forced Rachel and Patrick to cut their 500+ guest list to 55 and push their reception back a whole year, nothing was going to stop them from having their elegant, chic and overall beautiful celebration. Before the day arrived, the couple celebrated with a rehearsal dinner at the Oklahoma City Zoo, where they prepared for the big day by sipping on drinks, having a delicious dinner, and enjoying breathtaking views of the zoo’s rhino and elephant exhibits under the Oklahoma sunset. After a traditional Catholic Mass ceremony, the couple was surprised by all of their closest friends and family lined up outside of the church, making for the sweetest send-off to their stunning reception that ended up being the bride’s favorite memory of the day (scroll to read all the details!).
In a smaller, more intimate affair than previously planned, Rachel and Patrick had the best team of vendors to seamlessly transition all of their plans to their new celebration, while being so gracious as to come back for their big anniversary bash this coming August! Bunches of bright, beautiful blooms from Tony Foss Flowers adorn this scene to bring in a light and airy feel, while also being extremely chic and elegant to fit into their country club setting. Oh-so elegant tablescapes with champagne colored napkins and gold flatware from Mood Party Rentals accent white linens, with the perfect additions of lush greenery throughout. Mishelle Handy Cakes created a smaller version of this couple’s original wedding cake idea, complete with delicate buttercream details and lovely white florals on top, making for a delectable treat to end this sweet day! After filling up on a tasty dinner and enjoying an evening outside with cocktails, Rachel and Patrick headed to the Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City to reminisce on their truly perfect day that was full of laughter, unforgettable memories, and SO much love. Scroll to see all of the chic details of this white and gold wedding for our lovely Rachel – we couldn’t be more in love! Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Dunigan!

From the bride on her favorite memory: “So many ‘surprises’ in this pandemic planning brought me to tears, none more so than the surprise of seeing my friends lined up outside our church after our small ceremony, for the sweetest of send-offs. It was a moment I will truly never forget. While I was devastated all of our friends and family couldn’t be there to celebrate with us that day, we felt their love the whole weekend.”
