Cassidy McCaleb and Brian Emery’s Modern Oklahoma Wedding by Gibson Events Captured by Josh McCullock

Cassidy and Brian first met at a mutual friend’s wedding in Destin, Florida. They had their first date just two days after they returned home from the trip, and they have been together ever since!

After months of dating, Brian was ready to propose. While staying at a hotel in Miami Beach, Florida, Brian enlisted the help of the hotel’s VIP host to make the proposal perfect. Complete with a rose petal heart with their initials in the center, champagne and a cabana on the beach at sunset, Brian asked Cassidy to marry him, and she of course said yes!

One month later, Cassidy and Brian were married at the Freede Little Theatre at the Civic Center Music Hall. The couple wanted a very clean, modern wedding, and with the help of wedding coordinator Lindsay Gibson of Gibson Events, their wish came true.

The colors of white and midnight blue truly made the wedding beautiful, and the big day was everything the couple could have wished for. Cassidy looked stunning in an Alice + Olivia gown, and pearl and diamond studs completed her look. The couple had their first dance to “When I Get My Hands On You” by The New Basement Tapes, and one of their most memorable moments was when all of their friends and family stood around Cassidy and Brian while singing “Lean on Me” for the final song of the night. It was completely unplanned, which made it all the more special!

After the ceremony, Cassidy and Brian honeymooned at Crocs Casino and Resort, Jaco in Costa Rica. The happy couple currently lives in Tulsa.
