Chandler Wells Weds TJ Pope | Classic Pastel Ballroom Wedding Captured by Josh McCullock

Chandler and TJ’s big day was brimming with lovely pastels and soft florals. From a traditional church ceremony and an exquisite gown from J.J. Kelly Bridal Salon, the whole day was beautifully captured by Josh McCullock with photos reflecting the love and joy that permeated the day!

Chandler and TJ met during their junior year at the University of Oklahoma. They both were enrolled in the same class that happened to include Chandler’s sister and a group of her friends. When it came time for group assignments, Chandler was bummed she wasn’t in the same group as her sister or any of her friends. Luckily, there was a cute guy on her team named TJ. The pair ended up sitting next to each other and eventually started dating.

TJ planned a thoughtful proposal that consisted of dinner at the same restaurant where they spent their first Valentine’s Day. After enjoying a delicious steak dinner, they drove back toward Norman for dessert. Chandler couldn’t stand the anticipation and was guessing possible eateries when TJ stopped to blindfold his soon-to-be fiancee. Their destination ended up being the front porch of her beloved college house. TJ asked Chandler to be his wife and she excitedly said yes. After the proposal, they walked inside to be greeted by friends and family ready to celebrate! It was a special night the couple will always remember.

Chandler and TJ had a fun-filled wedding day full of wonderful memories. TJ surprised his bride with a video he had compiled in the weeks leading up to the wedding. The video consisted of clips of Chandler’s bridesmaids sharing why they cherish their friendship with her as well as marital advice from their families.

After the heartfelt ceremony, the newlyweds spent the evening on the dance floor. Chandler and TJ fondly recall being separated as they greeted guests, and finding each other on the dance floor. She can still see his gigantic smile on his face from their magical night!
