Hannah Whiting Weds Will Robson | Elegant Ballroom Wedding by Leslie Herring Events

Filled with magnificent florals and intricate gold details, the reception at The Skirvin Hilton was nothing short of breathtaking. Cheers to this sweet couple and their beautiful wedding day!

Hannah and Will’s love story began ten years ago in Ada, Oklahoma. The pair met while spending the last weeks of summer hanging out with mutual friends. Once school started, Hannah received a message from Will on Myspace asking her to lunch and the rest was history. They dated through high school and college at the University of Oklahoma.

After eight years together, Will knew it was going to be difficult to propose to Hannah without her becoming suspicious. Will enlisted the help of Hannah’s family and friends for the proposal. What was supposed to be a birthday dinner for Hannah’s best childhood friend in Oklahoma City, turned out to be a proposal from her high school sweetheart in the Myriad Botanical Gardens. After proposing, they celebrated with family and friends at Packard’s New American Kitchen.

The couple hired Leslie Herring Events to help with the design and coordination of the timeless wedding they desired. July 22, 2017, was nothing short of the classic elegance Hannah and Will had wanted. The bride walked down the aisle of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in an ivory Stephanie Allin dress with a vintage beaded belt and cathedral-length veil.

The wedding festivities continued at the historic Skirvin Hilton. The building’s already-gorgeous ballroom looked stunning with a floral chandelier of creams, pinks and greenery created by The Fleuriste suspended in the middle of the room over the dance floor. After hours of celebration, dancing and indulging in the couple’s five-tier buttercream cake by Madison’s on Main, guests lit up the evening by ushering the newlyweds into their getaway car with sparklers.

The next day, Hannah and Will hopped onto a plane to Ireland for a week long honeymoon to celebrate their decade of love.
