Pretty in pink perfectly describes Leah + Dax’s beautiful Oklahoma wedding! With plenty of sparkle and fabulous florals, what’s not to love?! Read on for more details on their big day:
Leah and Dax celebrated their nuptials on September 27, 2014, at the beautiful Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City. The bride wore a 1920s-style Martina Liana gown made from Parisian Silk Chiffon that was hand-beaded, adding a touch of timeless sparkle. The open back and court train of Leah’s gown were crowd stunners as her father walked her down the aisle to the love of her life who stood under a picturesque gazebo decorated with roses, peonies and greenery. The scenic outdoor ceremony left guests in awe before they retreated to the Grand Ballroom for the reception.
Romantic, dim lighting complemented the gorgeous French-inspired chandeliers, golden details and exquisite centerpieces. Thanks to Amanda Sikich of Planned 2 Perfection, every luxe detail of the couple’s soiree was perfection. Leah and Dax danced to “This Year’s Love” by David Gray for the first time as newlyweds and then joined guests on the dance floor to the groove of the band, DRIVE. One of the most memorable moments of the evening was when friends got on stage with the band and did a lively karaoke performance for the couple. Everyone enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and a beautiful dinner before a champagne toast and the cutting of the elegant, three-tiered cake.
At the end of the night, the bride and groom were whisked away to their honeymoon in St. Lucia for a week in paradise. The happy couple returned home to Edmond where Leah is an attorney and Dax works as a financial analyst.
