Christina and Michael met after being set up by her old boss who happened to be his mother’s best friend. The pair had a wonderful first date in Downtown Oklahoma City that included dinner, bowling and a walk through the Oklahoma City National Memorial. The rest is history!
The couple was enjoying a hike with friends at Mount Scott when Michael popped the question. Christina walked out to a beautiful cliff where Michael joined her and their friends began taking their picture. He surprised her with a kiss and the next thing she sees is him getting down on his knee! Christina first said no out of pure shock, but then squealed yes!
Christina and Michael had a perfect wedding day. The day started with the bride and her bridesmaids waking up at the venue and sipping coffee on the porch. Christina and Michael fondly recall having their first look prior to the ceremony. Michael was blindfolded so he couldn’t actually see her! Being able to “see” one another before the ceremony was intimate and calming for both of them. Christina still relives the moment she was able to say, “I do,” to the man of her dreams! Christina loved when she got to officially sign the marriage license. As they were signing, the couple could hear the excitement of their guests in the reception area!
The newlyweds cherished their time with their photographer Kelcy of Kelcy Leigh Photography. Kelcy saved the day when Christina’s flower crown was a bit too small. She expertly took a ribbon from the bride’s “toss” bouquet and tied a cute bow on it that made it fit perfectly!
